Testimonials

My daughter has been attending Helping Hands for several years and enjoys it. The staff is professional and cares about the clients. They are attentive and helpful and we always get a nice greeting when we arrive. My daughter loves going every day and is disappointed when she doesn’t go. As a mom/caregiver, I am pleased with the staff at both locations in how they treat my daughter and the services she receives. Thank you

My brother has been attending Helping Hands for over 15 years and I as the Guardian am quite pleased with the services, companionship and safety Helping Hands provides. The staff members are very helpful and when needed, will reach out if any concerns arise, such as medications, transportation to/from the center, etc. Each time that I have visited the center, not only am I greeted by the staff of Helping Hands, the clients also have a way of saying hello as well. I love the fact that Helping Hands treats my brother as a family member and I rest assured he gets the utmost treatment and respect. Thank You Helping Hands, “Never could have made it without you.”

My son has been attending Helping Hands Adult Day Care since 2002. The staff has always been kind, compassionate and caring to my son and very supportive to our family. Michael enjoys his day at the center and is responsive to his caregivers, especially Mr. Dennis. The individualized attention that Michael receives at Helping Hands gives our family the upmost confidence that he is well cared for while he is there.

Kudos to Helping Hands Adult Day Services!! My mom has been attending the Clinton location since September 2017. First, I would like to say a special Thank You to the Executive Director, Eleanor Bonner, who introduced me to Helping Hands and what they offer. They have an excellent and efficient professional staff. Just to name a few that I have witnessed working with my mom are Nurse Shelly, Activity Assistants Danita & Dennis, the Activities Director Ms. Margaret, and last but not least, Ms. Tabia who wears too many hats to name. These individuals along with their support staff are committed to treating their clients with dignity and respect. My mom is greeted upon her arrival with a warm smiling welcome and at times hugs for the staff upon her departure. Helping Hands has truly been a blessing for us in providing various activities, meals, and elderly care for our mother and my family is grateful for their work.
