About Us

Helping Hands Adult Day Services is a licensed medical Adult Day Program serving the Washington DC metropolitan area since 1997. We offer a secure, safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where participants can socialize, enjoy peer support, and engage in specialized activity programs. Health and social services are always available with an emphasis on promoting the individual’s maximum level of functioning and well-being. Family caregivers are able to feel secure that their loved ones who cannot be left alone, yet do not require 24-hour nursing care, are well taken care of during the day.

Who We Serve

At Helping Hands Adult Day Services, we provide a complete program of social, recreational, and health services in a community-based group setting to individuals who may be socially isolated, physically or mentally impaired, or in some way limited in their ability to function independently. The minimum age requirement is 16 years of age.

Two Locations to Serve You

We currently own and operate two centers in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Both our Clinton and Capitol Heights, Maryland locations offer individual plans of care to meet the needs of the participants.
